Service pits serve a variety of functions in the oil, gas, electrical and water/sewer utility industries. If you work on utilities (telecom, gas, hydro) you know that there are occasions when you need to get to them. NCM Hydrovac opens up a hole (4 by 8 feet wide, 4 feet deep) for construction workers to access the utility for repair and service. We can excavate two service pits per hour using air excavation and four pits per hour using water to excavate, saving you precious time.
